Johann Hari has some advice to bloggers: “Imagine you are sitting in a pub, you’ve grabbed somebody’s attention for just a second, and you are saying to them, ‘Listen. I have something really important to tell you.’ If you can’t do that with your subject material, if you can’t convince yourself that you could hold somebody’s attention in that situation, find another subject. “
