As part of my ongoing preparation for my next sermon, I am compiling a list of the ways Christians can use to help them defeat sin. This list is intended to be reasonably complete, but has at least one deliberate ommission.
I wonder if any of my mostly Christian readers can suggest one or two extra ones to add to this list, or indeed spot my deliberately absent tool for defeating sin, please either comment on this post or drop me an email!
How we can beat sin- Scripture reading, prayer, self denial, discipleship, being tested by trials, loveing the law, having a tender consciense, being active in church, having godly counsellors, living a lifestyle of worship, avoiding temptation (eg not seeing certain films).
So what have I missed?
