Ask not what the christian blogosphere can do for you, but what you can do for it

Here is a checklist of the top five things you can do to help the christian blogosphere as a whole succeed. Many of these will help you too. Some of these are based on my series on tips for blogging.

1. Ensure your site is listed in googles index and the Truth Laid Bear ecosystem follow the links to add your site (and in the second case ensure you click add to scan after your first submission)
2. The Christian blogosphere needs to have bloggers who rise to prominence outside our circles, who can in turn send traffic to everyone else. The more Christian bloggers that link to blogs that are already prominent, the more likely others are to take notice.

This week jollyblogger had a muslim link to one of his posts. I hope that we will see more influence by individual christian blogs and the group as a whole. Remember though only link to blogs that you enjoy. Please consider linking to as many of the following blogs you enjoy- they are all climbing the rankings of blogs and have the potential to come increasingly to the interest of non-christian bloggers also, they are listed in no particular order: Evangelical Outpost, In the Agora Jollyblogger La Shawn Barber Le Sabot Post-Moderne Parableman Patriot Paradox Smart Christian Wittenberg Gate HughHewitt.com New Trommetter Times One Hand Clapping Brutally Honest Adrian Warnock's UK Evangelical Blog SmartChristian Blog In the Agora Broken Masterpieces Wittenberg Gate News from the Great Beyond CoffeeSwirls Logicus bLogicus Spare Change Jubilee Church Allthings2all The Minor Prophet brainstorming Everyday Thoughts Collected Blue Goldfish Surface Blogdom of God Wesley Blog religion blog ++ relapsed catholic ++ Mark A. Kilmer Challies Dot Com
3. The Christian Blogosphere also needs to have a large number of blogs all linking to other blogs that may not be as prominent but that you the blog writers like. The first thing I look at when I see a new blog is who do they link to. In my humble opinion there are still too many christian blogs that cannot find ten others to link to- trust me you CAN find ten other christian blogs you like out there!
4. Send an email to your favorite blogger the next time you see something or write something you think they may be interested in.
5. Link to lots of individual posts written by other bloggers you like, using keywords rather than the title of the blog
