Troubled Diva reports the current top 20 of all UK blogs. I am surprised but pleased at least from the point of view of developing an audience for Christian blogs that this blog is in that top 20 for the first time. The postions from a year ago are the first figure in brackets and the second is the number of links. As you can see, as far as UK blogs are concerned the number of links even for the most popular blogs remain relatively low. Links from anywhere on the blogosphere count for this list.

Interestingly, the ecosystem has me with significantly more links than this- possibly even enough to put me in the top ten. I suspect that many of the Christian blogs on both sides of the atlantic are not currently in the technorati list of blogs. Maybe I should add another blogging tip to the five I suggested earlier: add your weblog to Technorati.

Some Christian bloggers may feel uncomfortable with a request for blogs to give each other more links to help them achieve higher positons in lists such as this, but I would love it if a number of UK Christian Blogs were higher up this list. There is little doubt that this would be of benefit to the gospel in the UK- as long as the right blogs were being given such honor. The most frequently named blog in the UK press this last year has I suspect been Belle de jour- a smutty blog which I do not recommend you to visit. I predict that media coverage of christian blogs cannot be far away in the UK- from my point of view, it would be great for some more UK God blogs to come to prominence as I sure dont want to be in the headlamps alone. I think it may be time to consider another aggregator (groans from those who think there are too many already.....) How about a UK Christian Blogs aggregator anyone?
