Nonsense poem

October 12, 2005

in Andree Warnock, Personal

Nonsense is things
That whisk me away
From normal life
On a boring day

Nonsense is strange
Its truly weird
Like a man with birds
Living in his beard

Nonsense is naughty
It makes me bad
I painted the puppy
And mum went mad

Nonsense is silly
I wonder why
Some birds have wings
And cannot fly

Nonsense is fun
It makes me laugh
Like keeping your clothes on
In the bath

Nonsense is great
It makes me giggle
Like making your ears
And eyebrows wriggle

Nonsense is mad
Its such a scream
Like eating your sausages
With your ice cream

Nonsense is cool
Nonsense is clever
I think I’ll love nonsense
For ever and ever
