Getting myself some home entertainment

Well, I often ask you important theological questions from time to time. Today, I am going to ask a much more mundane one today – How large shall I go?

I am of course talking about a home cinema system. I invited a new-found friend from church for dinner tonight and I defintiely had some ulterior motives. He runs a home entertainment business called Gold Entertainment in Enfield so I figured I’d get myself some free advice about getting a plasma TV for my lounge. Hopefully he will give me a good price! But the real questions are – how big? Plasma or LCD? What brand? HD ready or not? I also wonder if any of them will give me a decent audio quality without additional speakers?

Any advice out there for me? My friend says either 37inch or 42inch should fit my lounge best, but I am still not quite sure – and my bank mamger is even less so!

By the way, I will probably ignore your advice- the last time I asked you guys about this kind of thing was about my car. In the end I got a vauxhall Zafira which no one suggested – we love it for our family of 6. But go on, give the theology a rest and give me some advice on plasmas!
