After T4G What About "Together on a Mission 06"

Now that I have finally booked my place at the annual newfrontiers conference, I've decided it is safe to share it with you. There is every possibility this conference will sell out this year. If you can get a place, I promise it will be worth every penny of a transatlantic flight if that's what it needs. If you are UK-based, do anything you can to get there!!

This is from the newfrontiers website where you can book:

Together on a Mission with Mobilise is the latest in the series of annual conferences for leaders and those in their late teens and 20's. These conferences have become firmly established in the Christian calendar.

Who is it for?
We welcome all Christian leaders to Together on a Mission 06, whether the senior pastor of a church of thousands or a leader of a small home group or childrens ministry. Mobilise is for those from 18 to 30. We particularly welcome people from across the nations to both conferences nearly fifty nations were represented in 2005. However, we regret that we do not offer bursaries.

What is the purpose?
The Conferences, which overlap for some sessions, seek to refresh, envision, and equip present and future leaders to be more effective in taking the Gospel to this generation. By overlapping in some sessions we have the added value of leaders and young adults being able to encourage and provoke one another to greater exploits for God.

What is the theme and ethos?
Underlying the conference is the commission of Jesus to go into all the world with the Gospel in the power of Jesus Christ.
  • We are called to mission in our generation.
  • We believe we have been called to preach the word of God faithfully.
  • We are called to be people of the Spirit of God and seek to give room for His leading at all times and to experience His refreshing power.

About Brighton
Brighton, situated on the south coast of the United Kingdom, is a conference town and holiday resort. It was on the beach at Brighton that Hudson Taylor received his call to China, which has resulted in the vibrant church we see in China to this day. The well-appointed Conference Centre is located within a few hundred metres of that beach. There are many hotels and restaurants within easy walking distance of the Centre.

I hope to see you there!! Let me know in a comment on this post if you are coming and read this blog . . . .
