Free Christian Books to Give Away

It is with great pleasure that I announce a new venture here on the newly renamed adrian warnock's blog.

Thanks to the ever-supportive folks over at Crossway, I am pleased to tell you that I have five copies of the fantastic book, God is the Gospel by John Piper, to give away to you, my readers.

I have decided to launch a blog challenge to determine who will receive these books. The challenge is to join a few of us on a journey through the recent Together for the Gospel statement article-by-article. Black Calvinist is out of the blocks early with a post on the introduction. I will be writing my own thoughts on that later this week, and then I plan on slowly working my way through the whole statement article-by-article. As other aspects of this blog wont come to a total standstill during this time, I expect this process to take several weeks. I am told that the T4G guys may be blogging through the articles themselves.

Those who choose to blog along with us will all have the opportunity to win a copy of God is the Gospel. Winners will not necessarily be those sympathetic to the T4G beliefs. Im hoping for some honest discussion such as has been happening recently with the other God blogger called Warnock.

The books will be distributed as follows:

  • One book will be given to the commentator on my blog who, in my opinion, contributes most helpfully to the discussion.
  • One book will be given to the blogger who, in my opinion, contributes most helpfully to the discussion over on their own blog.
  • Three books will be given to randomly selected bloggers who join in and link back to one of the posts on my blog about the competition.
Even a simple link informing your own readers of this challenge will be sufficient to qualify and possibly win a book! I will be using Google Trackbacks to find entries, so make sure your posts appear on the Google Blogsearch engine. (I recently had to pass my feed through Feedburner to get my own posts to reappear over there.)

If you don't yet have a blog, this is the perfect opportunity to start oneit only takes a few minutes and is FREE!

I will approach potential winners by e-mail. To qualify, the winners must agree to their name being made public, and will obviously need to send shipping details to Crossway.

Crossway is the kind sponsor of this challenge. This should not be taken as an endorsement by them of the views of Together for the Gospel or of this blog. The choice of winners will be mine alone. Winners may be selected from those who agree or disagree with the values expressed by T4G, this blog, or Crossway.
