I realised some time ago that you were probably the same Adrian who I knew as a teenager in Chelmsford. And your story part 4 seems to have confirmed it for me . . .
I was in my late 20′s by 1984, and at St. Mary’s, Great Baddow . . . I remember you from inter-church events, and also because I was involved at St. Mary’s with several of the boys from your school who were in that mini-revival.
To me also it was “the nearest thing to a revival I have ever experienced” – and I have also experienced the Toronto Blessing, although in my case only this year! When I met with your school friends (and maybe sometimes with you) “the presence of God was in the room in such a weighty manner.” For me also, “I can only remember a handful of other times in my life when God has felt as close as he did at those times.”
