"This right way, however, is the Lord Jesus Christ. Whoever desires to seek another way, as the great multitudes venture to do by means of their own works, has already missed the right way; for Paul says to the Galatians: "If righteousness is through the Law," that is, through the works of the Law, "then Christ died for naught" (Gal. 2:21). I have also been thinking a great deal about the brevity of life, being 40 and all ... and that leads me to this conclusion. I think Christians ought to do whatever it takes to be a part of a church where God is present. I have met too many that try to "get by" in a place where He is not."
Paul Martin, commenting on "The Value of a Local Church where God Is," is alarmed at the lack of churches preaching "Jesus Christ," and finds comparatively few churches where it could be said, "God is with them."
