In 2009 Newfrontiers is starting a Belfast Church — the eleventh largest city in the UK. The church plant website went live recently, and they have already opened a Belfast Church plant Facebook group.
The emerging vision for the church plant is:
- To see a Christ-centered church planted in Belfast city, on a mission seeking a transformed city.
- To be a church that reflects the growing diversity of Belfast.
- To see multiple thriving congregations established across Belfast.
- To plant churches in all five cities in Northern Ireland.
- To plant churches in every major town in Northern Ireland.
- To raise up indigenous leaders and church planters.
