Rebuilding Marriages – Following the Manual

This sermon is a real treat to watch. So much Christian teaching on marriage is based purely on human wisdom, and amounts to repacked psychological insights. Actually, I have no problem with us learning from such thoughts–since after all if Proverbs tells us to learn from the ants, we can with discernment learn from anywhere. BUT, we must first get our foundations right before we learn the superficial principles. As such, I commend this sermon from my friend and pastor, Tope Koleoso. In it he begins a new series on marriage. Here he brings us right back to the makers manual for marriage.

I encourage you to get your spouse, make them a cup of coffee or tea, tell them you want to put some work into making your marriage better than it is. I am sure that however good (or bad) your marriage is, you won’t regret it. I won’t be posting all the sermons here, but you can follow each week at http://jubilee-church.org/video. You can also submit totally anonymous questions on marriage for our Q and A sessions.
