Liam Goligher

Liam Goligher is a British preacher with a broad appeal. He has spoken in many different types of conferences, and I tend to think of him as something of a British John Piper. I was impressed by his passion, clarity, and anointing in preaching when I saw him live. I have interviewed him twice, and one of these occasions was by video. We had a lot of fun and this is one of my favorite ever interviews. Liam also kindly endorsed my book, and about half way through the interview we turn to the subject of the book and Jesus’ resurrection more generally.

We decided to go to the second Bible reading this morning so we could catch at least some of the Formula One. As it started at 11-30am we were probably the only people in the world glad that the race got suspended when it did! (Though we only got to hear that the race was [...]

Preach the Word….

October 11, 2003

I had a a great day today, which was worthwhile even if to just be reminded of some great quotes, like “‘To me, the work of preaching is the highest and most glorious calling to which anyone can be called.’ Dr. D. Martyn Lloyd-Jones” AND preaching is ‘Logic on Fire’ (Again from The Doctor) One [...]
